WHO SHOULD DO THIS TRAINING?

This course should be done by contractors and contractor employees who will be contracted to perform work on client premises.

WHY IS THIS TRAINING IMPORTANT?

This course provides evidence that contractors and contractor employees who have been contracted to perform work on client premises have been trained and made aware of health and safety requirements on the premises. Learners will understand basic signage and safety requirements that are in place on a client's premises.

BASIC COURSE CONTENTS

This course includes the following important aspects;

Introduction and overview of Contractors and Suppliers Induction.

Understanding site security, facility and worker welfare rules.

Understanding the company and the main role player legal appointments.

Understanding Contractor or Supplier project or task preparation and considerations.

Understanding Contractor and Supplier management responsibilities.

Understanding the role of the Contractor Controller.

Understanding the mandatory evidence required from Contractors and Suppliers.

Understanding methodology and types of risk assessment.

Understanding Contractor and Supplier Task-based Risk Assessment requirements.

Understanding Contractor and Supplier Safe Work Procedures and practices.

Understanding Accident and Incident reporting procedures and records.

Understanding safety signs meanings and interpretations.

Understanding safety and hazard risk management areas, including office, warehouse, operations, workshop and yard areas.

Understanding consequences of breach by Contractor or Supplier.

COURSE DETAILS

The course duration is approximately two (2) hours.

The course requires secure access via a username and password and can be accessed via PC or mobile phone.

The course programme includes a number of modules with a quiz at the end of each module to determine the competence of the learner.
